It was a beautiful Thursday in the Dominican. We are so blessed to be here. Thank you for your support and encouragement of our team as we support and encourage the Kids Alive ministry.

 

We began the morning with construction and repairs in the sensory room to prepare it for organization. We touched up the painting to make the room look spotless. 

 

 

Felicity and Christian joined the high school students in their volleyball PE class in the afternoon while Naomi and Darlene did the third teacher training to encourage the Kids Alive staff. 

 

 

 

We went to the pharmacy in the afternoon and used our team funds to purchase essential medical supplies, including hydrogen peroxide, bandages, gauze, and basic medications for the school at Jarabacoa. Becky, our team’s pediatric nurse, provided wound care for multiple children who had infections at the school and referred them to a clinic to obtain prescribed medications. It was truly a blessing for us to be able to provide medical supplies and care for children directly. 

 

 

We took the Kids Alive missionaries out to dinner and then meditated on God’s word in the evening as Brad led us through a powerful devotion.

 

We are looking forward to our last full day of service here tomorrow!
